Early Childhood Educator

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities aligned with early childhood curriculum standards (e.g., EYFS or equivalent national frameworks).
• Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, language, creativity, and motor skills through structured and unstructured play.
• Observe and record children’s behaviour, learning progress, and developmental milestones.
• Ensure constant supervision of children to maintain safety in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Follow safeguarding policies and child protection regulations at all times.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.
• Prepare and organise learning materials and classroom environments to support developmental goals.
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
• Understanding of child development and early learning principles (e.g., EYFS or equivalent frameworks)
• 3 ~ 5 years working and managing experience with young children in a preschool, kindergarten, or childcare setting 
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
• Strong communication skills (with children, parents, and staff)
• Patience, responsibility, and good classroom management skills
• Observation and record-keeping skills for tracking child development
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
