First Language English (FLE) Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English lessons covering reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and literature.
• Develop students’ communication, comprehension, and writing skills.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and continuous evaluation.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages English use.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resources.
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with staff to support student learning.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding, and child protection guidelines.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
• Strong command of English in both spoken and written forms, with the ability to model accurate language use for students.
• Familiarity with specific educational frameworks like the UK National Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, or IB.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills effectively.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding, child protection policies, and the overall wellbeing of students in a safe learning environment.
