KINGS International School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary Coordinator, proficient in English and experienced in the Cambridge curriculum to join our team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 4–6 years of successful classroom teaching experience and possess Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field). As a Primary Coordinator, you will provide professional leadership and management for the Year Levels, ensuring the well-being and happiness of each child in line with the school's Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Your role encompasses overseeing curriculum implementation, pastoral support, and maintaining effective communication with parents. You will report to the Head of Department and Head of School.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring student well-being, pastoral care, behaviour, and academic   progress
  • Supporting teachers with behavior strategies, assessments, and planning
  • Maintaining high standards in learning environments, homework, reporting, and parent communication
  • Overseeing assessment, target setting, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate tracking of student progress and maintaining high-quality written reports and documentation within agreed deadlines.
  • Quality-controlling curriculum planning documents, skills progression grids, medium-term plans, and other essential records on the school system
  • Managing communication with parents, including meetings related to academic or pastoral concerns, escalating matters to the SLT when necessary
  • Coordinating year-level events such as assemblies, prize-giving, transition activities, and contributes to whole-school events and calendar planning.
  • Supporting staff professional growth through observations, feedback, mentoring, and induction of new teachers
  • Additional duties include attending trainings, meetings, and conferences, and carrying out other responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.



Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Recognized teaching qualification or valid teaching license/certification.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
  • Prior experience in a coordination, mentoring, or leadership role is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of student well-being, pastoral care, behavior management, and inclusive practices.
  • Ability to observe teaching practice and provide constructive feedback and mentoring.
  • Willingness to attend trainings, meetings, conferences, and school events.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to undertake additional responsibilities as directed by senior leadership.
