Lower Secondary (Year 7 to 9)
A rigorous and internationally benchmarked programme that builds academic depth, independence and readiness for IGCSE pathways.
About Our Lower Secondary Programme
Our Lower Secondary programme runs from Year 7 to Year 9. At the end of the programme, students sit the Pearson Edexcel iSecondary examinations from the United Kingdom, ensuring internationally recognised academic standards.
The programme is delivered in a trilingual learning environment, with English as the main language of instruction, supported by Myanmar and Chinese language studies. This structure strengthens academic language proficiency and global communication skills.
Strong emphasis is placed on core subjects including English, Mathematics and Science. Student progress is measured through regular testing, formative assessments and summative evaluations to ensure readiness for the next stage of learning.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are integrated into the curriculum alongside Art, Music, ICT, History, Geography and Literature, providing a balanced and intellectually stimulating learning experience.
Students also have the option to sit for the HSK Chinese language proficiency examinations, further strengthening their multilingual competence and international outlook.
Student Activities
Our Lower Secondary students participate in a wide range of academic, collaborative and enrichment activities that promote leadership, responsibility and independent learning.
